Thank you to all who answered my query about reencoding Classical
Chinese Buddhist texts encoded in Shift-Jis to gloss-app-readable Unicode.
Special thanks to Robert Smitheram via David Herren for the perfect
solution. See below - His suggested reencoding software is the
pershizzle de fabshizzle solution; a MUST have for multilingual computing
specialists!  It worked like a charm.   Joseph
