Hello,

One of our first ventures was setting up language exchanges.  If you
have a German partner university, they're always a good bet since they
all have offices dedicated to Tandem language exchanges at the
university and are always short of English speakers.

All:

My institution has spent boodles of dollars setting up a 
videoconferencing space (a Polycom system with a dedicated IP address 
with its own T1 line) and now (!) is looking for ways to use it.  If 
your institution also has such a set up, and if you, too, would like to 
give it a work out for possible language collaborations, please let me 
know.
