>Subject: Fees for proficiency testing

Does your university charge students a fee for administering foreign language
"proficiency exams" for the purpose of "testing out" of a college-wide language
requirement? If so, could you possibly say how much you charge students for
this?

A related question: If your college has a language proficiency requirement, may
your students meet that requirement by documenting their level of competency in
a language _not_ taught by your school? If so, what is the procedure for doing
that?

Thank you!
