Dear Sharon,
I don't know about the textbook(s) currently used for teaching Turkish here
at UCLA, but I do know of a nice online site to supplement Turkish
instruction called "Turkish Tutor" (developed under UCLA auspices):
http://www.international.ucla.edu/turkishtutor/
