RipFlash Recordable MP3 Player from PoGo! Products, Inc. was a nice
addition to our repertoire of field audio production equipment.
http://www.pogoproducts.com/index.html for about $130. The internal
microphone makes an acceptable quality recording to mp3, 44.1 khz, 16 bit
word if you choose that setting from the menu.

We coupled it to an "Out Loud" CD wallet w/powered speaker
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000YTVWE/202-5328474-9504658
and it works very nicely for us.

Looks like Pogo may have discontinued the RipFlash, which is too bad. But
they are now selling another mp3 recorder coupled with an AM/FM receiver
circuit and call that one a "Radio your Way LX." Maybe?

Your Humble Technician,

Mark
