This is a bare bones player ony - no display, looking cheap, but works fine with
the included remote control. We have four of these running here without any
problem. It does play PAL/2 disks without any problem. I have encountered only
one disk that required resetting the region code (which is a very simple
processs via the remote control)

Talking about Yamakawa in general - the web had some negative stuff on the DVD+
burner unit (DVR 628) when used in playback mode. In burn mode, this unit seems
to be doing fine producing non-region code DVDs.

Apparently the recoding industry is getting tougher with the industry, Our main
supplier told us, that he can no longer ship these machines for obvious
reasons....
