Michal,

Neither the Italian nor the German spell/grammar checkers are included in
the standard (English) version of Windows-XP.  They are part of the
supplementary Proofing Tools for Word, which has to be purchased separately.
As far as other sources of spell/grammar checkers go, I don't know of any
for Italian, but for German there is the Duden Korrektor PLUS, a CALICO
review of which can be consulted online at
