We have used the Plantronics DSP 500 USB headsets for several years. Out of 50+
headsets, none has broken. It uses a nice unidirectional mic, has mic mute and
volume control on the cord, and padded earpieces. Though it retails for some
$109/ea, we've gotten them for as little as $65 from Amazon and CDW (after a
little volume discount haggling).

Hi!

I am looking around for a good USB PC headset to be used with Audacity to
record students' voice digitally. Does anyone have any good recommendations?
It should not be extremely expensive. Sturdiness is of course a plus :)

Thanks in advance for your help.
