Hi,
We are using "El Corrector" and Le Correcteur

conjunction with word. What is more it does not always recognise mispelled
words, and syntactic suggestions are not always accurate. It is not so much a
problem with the software itself, I just think that toolproofing kits in general
- just like speech recognition - still need improvements.. This gets in the
question of whether artificial intelligence can match a human mind
(cognition..).
We are also currently trying Atajo 4.0

What tools
have proved most effective for your students?
The hope is to find a program that can check a document, and give
significant guidance to the student in improving their
composition, before
they submit it to the teacher. Guidance in proper grammatical
usage and if
possible, some stylistic mark-up is desired. Our professors
are hoping for
more than they get with the Spanish version of Microsoft Word. Another
target group is the returning students, and sometimes
teachers, who feel
that they once were fluent, but need to brush up on their
skills and reduce
the Anglicisms in their writing. Any suggestions?
