Eric,

Just one quick observation.  NetSnippets is not freeware.  Your institution
may have a site license for use by faculty/students (which may or may not
include off-campus use).  You can download a free demo version, but
otherwise it sells for about US$80 (http://www.netsnippets.com/order.asp).
Just thought you should know.
