>Subject: UW Search for Dean of School of Ed

My apologies if this is slightly off topic. I'm on the search committee
for a Dean of our School of Education. I'm supposed to submit lots of
nominations, but unfortunately I don't hang out in School of Ed circles.
Thus, I'm asking my friends and colleagues on this list to forward to
me any names of persons at your schools that might qualify, and that
might be interested (or be persuaded to be interested) in this position.
We have an outstanding School of Education here, and some of you may be
aware of good people that you might recommend (unless by some chance
your report directly to that person and you'd like to keep him/her
there! <grin>. The position description can be found at:

http://www.ohr.wisc.edu/pvl/pv_049003.html

Please reply directly to me (not to the list) if you have suggestions.
In advance, thanks!
