Hello Mary:

I did this before and successfully created PAL versions that played on a
standard player in Germany.  I do not think that iDVD adds a regional code,
but you have to make sure that ( as you correctly state ) that iMovie and
iDVD output are set to the PAL standard.Might be a good idea to burn one
trial copy and send it over for testing before you produce bulk.
