iDVD sets the region code by default in such a way that the discs
will be playable in all regions. This has been my experience with the
only two discs made in iDVD for PAL -- they played just fine in a
stand-alone DVD player in Germany. To be able to set region codes
manually in DVD authoring on the Mac, you have to use DVD Studio Pro.
