We use them for group writing or translation projects.  Calper's Wiki is
Unicode and allows students to edit and write without worrying about the
encoding.  It also has a history and tracking feature that allows the
professor to see who wrote what and when.  Just write them and ask to have
one set up for your class(es).

Greetings everyone,

Has anyone used wikis as a tool  for language teaching and learning..? If
yes I
would really be interested in knowing how and for what purpose..
How different would the methodology be from the weblogs perspective - apart
from
the fact that weblogs are kept locked and can only receive comments and
feeback?
