Jorg,

I have not used it myself, but many people on the MacManager/Worgroup
Manager list I'm on use a piece of shareware called CarbonCopyCloner for
this.  You can downloaded via Apple's website at:
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/system_disk_utilities/carboncopycloner.htm
