The fall meeting of the New England Regional Association of Language Lab
Directors (otherwise known fondly as NERALLD) will be on October 14 and 15
this year at St. Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont. We'll be
spending a couple of hours on Thursday afternoon learning about, and playing
with the CAN-8 system, an authoring program which is used at St. Michaels
for both Modern Languages and ESL. The afternoon workshop will be followed
by an Ed-Dente-inspired tour of the Magic Hat Brewery in Burlington and a
dinner at the Vermont Pub and Brewery (is there a theme developing here?).
Our conference proper will be on Friday--look for more information in your
email as to the theme and sessions! If you plan on coming, now is the time
to make reservations at a local hotel, since the conference is in the middle
of "leaf-peeper" season. For more information, please feel free to email
me.

Regards,
Sue
