>Subject: Cyrillic documents not printing after upgrade to OS X

We have a user here who's just been upgraded from OS 9 to OS 10.3. She has
Cyrillic documents from before that will not print now. The print job
doesn't even get sent to the printer. This only happens with Cyrillic
documents made in OS 9. It doesn't happen with English documents from OS 9
or newly created Cyrillic documents.

The printer is an HP LaserJet 4 and the correct printer driver is being
used.

This problem is similar to others I've had in the past with Chinese and
Hindi documents, but I'm not sure what the answer was then. I believe in
one case we happened to get a new printer and that fixed it, but this was a
while back.

Any insights greatly appreciated - please copy them to [log in to unmask] as
well as myself (and the list if you like).

Thanks!
