OPENING IN GERMAN
2004-05 Academic Year
University of Tennessee at Martin

One year, full-time appointment in German (August 2004-May 2005).
Position may be renewed for an additional year or converted into a
tenure-track line.  Applicants must be prepared to teach four courses
each semester in German language, civilization, and literature and
willing to organize extracurricular, program-building activities.
Native/near-native language skills required.  Computer literacy,
knowledge of CALL and proficiency-based instruction a plus.
Applicants should hold at least a Masters degree in German;  ABD or
PHD preferred.  Send cv, letter of application, and names, email
addresses, and telephone numbers of three references to Dr. Paul B.
Crapo, Chair, Modern Foreign Languages, University of Tennessee at
Martin, Martin, TN 38238.  Salary negotiable, depending on experience
and qualifications.  Review of positions will begin on May 4 and will
end when position is filled.
