Sorry about the late reply.  

You may have already done this, but if not . . . 
Check out the Task-Based Activites Books I and II.  These are 
excellent starting places for many instructors.  I have used them 
with my instructors to encourage use of the lab.  One warning 
though, don't lend out the books.  I've had trouble getting them 
back as instructors pass them onto colleagues, and then they pass 
them onto other colleagues, etc.  (I try to view it possitively as 
proof of how useful they have found them to be.  That reminds me.  
I need to order a replacement.)
