Hello everyone,

The Yale University Center for Language Study is seeking a Language
Technology Specialist to support the implementation of web-based
software being developed as part of a grant-funded project. This is a
fixed duration position (two years from date of hire), with some
likelihood of extension for a period of time beyond that.

The technology specialist will provide training and user support
through demos, presentations, workshops, and one-on-one support
sessions; test and document our new software; and perform software
administration tasks (such as creating project instances, investigating
problem reports, etc.). He or she will work closely with faculty who
are developing multimedia materials and will have an opportunity to
participate in both pedagogical and technological design of the
projects.

This is primarily a user services position that requires strong
communication and writing skills. We are seeking someone with
experience in faculty support, training, and CALL (computer-assisted
language learning).

For details on the position, go to:
http://www.yale.edu/hronline/placement/ and search under "IT Jobs" for
the
requisition number: CDCN20033

Feel free to email me directly if you have any questions about the
position.

Best,
Vincent
