Dear Colleagues,

Today I received my copy of the 2nd edition of the Handbook of Research on Educational Communications and Technology. It is edited by David H. Jonassen and published by Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, 2004.

I contributed chapter 19, "Technology in the Service of Foreign Language Teaching: The Case of the Language Laboratory." It is an updating and expansion of my portion of a chapter in the 1st edition of the Handbook.

The history portion is much longer. LLTI subscribers will be gratified to know that I mention LLTI.

An online version is available to AECT members.

I welcome any comments.

Warren
