>Subject: Position available at Yale Center for Language Study

Dear all,

The Yale Univ. Center for Language Study is seeking a Language Technology
Specialist to support the implementation of web-based templates being
developed as part of a grant-funded project.

This is a fixed duration position (two years from date of hire), with some
likelihood of extension for a period of time beyond that.

This technology specialist will provide training and user support through
demos, presentations, workshops, and one-on-one support sessions; test and
document our new software; and perform super-user application
administration (such as creating project instances, investigating problem
reports, etc.). He or she will work closely with faculty who are developing
multimedia materials and will have an opportunity to participate in both
pedagogical and technological design of the projects.

This is first and foremost a user services position that requires strong
communication and writing skills. Note that minimum required
education/experience is a Bachelor's degree plus two years of work
experience. A Master's in CALL or a related field is preferred.

The position reports to Vincent Cangiano, Manager of our Language
Technology Projects group.

For all the details on the position, go to:

http://www.yale.edu/hronline/placement/

and search under "IT Jobs" for the requisition number:

CDCN20033

Feel free to e-mail me directly if you have any questions about the position.

Hope to see many of you at NERALLD tomorrow--
Brad
