The beta release of DL Recorder has a new audio browser that lets you quickly see local exercises. By clicking the "audio library" button, you can instantly see a list of all audio files in your work folder. Also being worked on, but not making it into this release, are: - the new zero-loading-time feature that lets any song load almost instantly - higher quality MP3 playback that consumes less system resources and works properly under Mac OS - and complete built-in help files. To download this beta release, go to: http://schiller.dartmouth.edu/dl-recorder/download.php

Just noticed this e-mail I'd missed.

Looks like a promising application! Any chance we'll see OGG Vorbis support added in the near future? The licensing issues surrounding MP3 make it unlikely a freeware app will ever record MP3 compressed files, but with Vorbis that's not a problem.

Is this project intended to be a freeware release, or is it eventually going commercial?
