>Subject: Arabic and OS X

------------------

Hi all,

Has anyone successfully done much of anything with Arabic and OS X (without
resorting to Classic)? MS Office X isn't Unicode ready, so we have Nisus
Writer Express, but the characters come out disconnected. According to the
Nisus website, Panther may resolve this, but who knows when that will come
out. Later this year, maybe. <http://www.apple.com/macosx/panther/>

Can anyone view Arabic webpages in OS X? Is there an alternative word
processor, maybe OpenOffice, that works?

Thanks,
Laura
