Here at Montclair State University we've also begun to feel behind the 
times, especially when a non-traditional student told me how she had to 
use her daughter's FisherPrice tape player to listen to our cassette.  
For the past two years we've delivered our audio using streaming 
servers, but now are beginning to embark on audio CD duplication.  Not 
all students have computers, but all have CD players.  Publishers have 
been granting us permission to duplicate audio CDs.

We've researched the products available and decided to purchase a 
Scribe EC unit by MediaForm (http://www.mediaform.com/).  We've also 
decided on a thermal printer as print permanence and longevity are more 
important to us than fancy color graphics, especially given the adverse 
conditions these CDs may face.
