Hello Lynne,

I took a look at the IALLT 2003 web site and am interested in attending
the conference. Our company, onShore Development, Inc., recently
partnered with the University of Michigan's Film and Video Library to
completely overhaul the media cataloging/booking capabilities of our
flagship software system called WebCheckout. In short, they schedule
and manage films, videos, and related equipment. I've spoken with
several members of LLTI and am inclined to think that this software tool
can be useful to the group.

Will there be an exhibitors area? I checked on the web site under
"sponsors," which indicated that information is forthcoming. We would
like to meet with people who work in Language Labs to find out how
WebCheckout can be adapted to improve operational processes.

I would like to find out if attendees would be interested in viewing our
software. You can e-mail me directly at:

We will be attending ALA in Toronto, which starts immediately after
IALLT 2003 ends, in case any of the attendees plan to cross the border.

Lynne, feel free to contact Mike Miller, Director of the Arts and
Engineering Libraries at University of Michigan to learn more about
their WebCheckout implementation. Thanks in advance. I look forward to
speaking with you.

Sincerely,

Dan Pyne

> If you are planning to attend IALLT 2003, or would like to be included in the conference program, please consider volunteering as a moderator. Session moderators introduce the speaker, function as timekeepers to smooth adherence to the schedule, and also pass out evaluation forms at the end of the session.
