Jim,

My experience so far has been that publishers are treating audio CDs in the 
same way they treat audio tapes, requiring written permission.  I haven't 
yet had a publisher deny this request.  Do others have a different experience?

This would be a good subject to have addressed at IALLT - how people are 
handling the duplication of CDs, including the permissions, copying, 
storage and labelling.  I wish I'd thought of it sooner!  But perhaps 
someone out has already included it.
