We found wands to be relatively unreliable. We went with CCD
scanners... more expensive, but faster and more reliable. Laser
scanners are even better (they say) but also more expensive yet.

Dear All,

Have you any experience with purchasing wands and associated software
for scanning bar codes? We're planning to buy, and would appreciate
the benefit of your recommendations. We can do Mac or Wintel.

Thanks,
