Hi, Jim:

Deutsche Welle broadcasts an unencrypted digital signal from the AMC-1
satellite. It's free, but you'll need a dish and receiver to get the feed.

More information from Deutsche Welle on receiving its broadcast signal here:

Hope this helps,

Hello all,

We are preparing to install DishNetwork satellite dishes to get
programming for the languages we teach at my school. It seems that
DishNetwork does not carry German programming. I wonder why this is.

Does anyone on the list receive German programs via satellite?

Thank you, Jim
