Since I don't even have access to a Windows 98 machine I'm not sure, but
your problem may be due to the fact that it is Windows 98 that you are
running. Does it allow you to even have a unicode font?

To write the .as file that will be included in the .fla flash file, I use
notepad or wordpad. Make sure to save it as a .UTF8 and make sure that
your font is a unicode font (like LUCIDA SANS UNICODE or MS Mincho).

Regards,

Jay
