I wouldn't be surprised if this machine also has a PAL/NTSC converter 
in it too. I don't have any PAL DVDs to test in my unit.


A word of warning: if this is, in fact, simply a universal machine that is made for the world market, I would not necessarily expect it to have a PAL/NTSC converter. Rather, I would expect it to output PAL when playing a PAL DVD, and NTSC when playing an NTSC DVD.
