Dear Gayle,
I was a member of OMAET Cadre 4 Bleu.  You may want to talk to Laura
Crupi or Greg Thompson from my cadre.  Also, Gayle Britt used to teach
in Japan, so she might have some insight as to the language development
aspect of using video.  If you'd like their e-mail addresses, let me
know.  If there is anything I can do to help, please don't hesitate to
ask.  Hang in there...I remember feeling like my head was 6 feet under
water about this time last year.  :-)

Hi all,



I am studying with the Online Master's of Arts in

Educational Technology at Pepperdine. I teach at a

combined junior and senior high school in Japan. I was

wondering if anyone has ever used digital videos with

their students. I thought it might be fun for the

students to do a role play or something and then check

it out on the computer. I would also like them to

learn how to edit digital video and such.



Has anyone ever done this? Or do you have any ideas

about using digital video?



What are some ways you use the computer as a tool for

language developement?



Any and all ideas will be most appreciated.
