Lee, open www.interiorconcepts.com, click "Furniture for Educational
Facilities, click "Interactive Floor Plan" and take a look at some neat
design ideas.
If you want your "lab" to be a multi functional facility you need to
have furniture that allows the top edge of the CRT or LCD Panel to be
located below the line of vision. Large writing surface, and the desktop
computer under the desk.
(I have been planning a lab that has all the CPUs at a remote location
(Blade System) and requires a very small desktop unit and moveable LCD
panels with the idea of having teaching labs that are multipurpose
(classroom, computer lab, seminar room, viewing room). Don't ask me for
specific details because this plan is all in my mind waiting for funding
( a long wait!!!!!)) ;-)
