Dennis,

I have been using a Palm Pilot for about 2 years. I use the Palm IIIxe. I
highly recommend it but be sure you get additional RAM. The chintzy 2 MB
they sell it with is just not powerful enough.

I use most of the functions and have even added an e-book reader so I have
something to do at airports without lugging around more weight (but be sure
to bring extra batteries if you are reading a book. This drains power like
an open faucet.

My Palm works with both a PC and a Mac but I had to buy an adapter for my
Mac. I actually like the calendaring feature better on the mac than the PC.

Do you also carry a cell phone? If so maybe you should consider a device
that can combine both features.

Mary
