>Subject: DVD/VCR Combos - Region-free AND Multi-standard?

Hello,
We're in the process of purchasing 5 region-free DVD players and 2
multi-standard VCRs. I have plenty of information from previous
discussions on this topic regarding vendors, web sites, models, etc.
However, now that DVD/VCR combos are becoming more commonplace on the
consumer market, I'm wondering if anyone has seen a
region-free/multi-standard DVD/VCR combo. Wouldn't that just be the
ticket? Or am I asking too much at this point? We could save space,
complications with installation and cabling and, hopefully, money. It
just makes so much sense. But, alas, I haven't seen such a beast
anywhere.
Still hopeful,
Carine
P.S. Another, related question.... Have any of you purchased multi-disc
players (3 or 5, etc.)? If so, do your faculty take advantage of this
feature?
