Samsung was the first manufacturer to make one, but I believe they no
longer have a model available. You might find one by doing a search.

I have been recommended the Sharp DVD-NC60, which is a multi-region
multi-standard DVD-VCR in one. It would save cabling etc. and do what you
need so is worth considering for a new installation.

It would work with either a multi-standard TV or projection system, or else
with a converter for showing on an NTSC monitor.

One supplier is the World Gift Center in Chicago. Look for the "Sharp DVD
and VCR in one" at <www.world-import.com/dvd.htm>.

Sharp combo DVD-VCR player: $549.99

Recommended converter: Com World CMD-850, $349.99, $45 off when purchased
with a player.
