To Whom It May Concern:
The following exchange from your list serv was brought to our attention.
Transparent Language, Inc. does indeed have a line of software products
(LanguageNow!) that supports advanced content in Spanish as well as in
French, German, Italian, Latin, Russian and more. There is some basic
product information available at www.transparent.com
<http://www.transparent.com> . More detailed academic product and pricing
information is available by contacting our education sales group at
800-752-8851.
Transparent products are actively used at all levels of secondary and
post-secondary education to teach language fundamentals through literature
and advanced concepts. A number of studies have shown the benefits of
incorporating LanguageNow! into literature classes for comprehension and
vocabulary retention. While our base products are focused on language
fundamentals, we also have excerpts from classic and contemporary
literature, periodicals, and even current television available.
I would like to know how we can share this information with your list
subscribers. It seems from the exchange like there may be some interest in
this type of product/implementation. Please let me know if and how we can
do this.
Thank you in advance for your attention to this message.
Regards,
Tim Hildreth

Friends - I believe the software that you are looking for is the Transparent
Language Programs put out by Syracuse Language. I think the concept is very
interesting but I have never been able to come up with practical
applications for classroom use. I also haven't looked at it in several
years so I don't know if it still is around.
