We are using the security program "Deep Freeze" on all our lab computers, which
allows people to do just about anything they want, including downloading
plug-ins...until the computer is rebooted, when everything that was done that
day goes away and the "official" setup comes back. When plug-ins are necessary
for everyday work, we shut off the DeepFreeze and install them ourselves.

Regards,
Sue
