This is a call for French speakers to participate in an online survey
that tests the validity of a directness measure for picture-word
relationships. The survey includes an instruction part and a test part,
where the participant actually rates the level of directness of 58
picture-word/phrase combinations. The entire survey should take no more
than 20-30 minutes.

It is hoped that a valid scale of directness for picture-word
relationships will help us better understand how and why images affect
language learning, as research has shown they do.
