Without knowing the specifics of how the files were encoded and which codec's were used to compress these files I can make some generalizations that might be of help. First, are both the Quicktime and real movies streamed? if so are you viewing the largest stream of each? You can change the display size of the Quicktime movies but not from a web page if they are
imbedded. Copy the link to the movie and and open it using the Quicktime player. You will be able to resize it from there. Also if you do this you can use an option called present movie that basically blacks everything on the screen except for the movie being played. What this does is free up the graphics card from having to draw pixels that are not necessary
(the desktop) and will help with performance. I am not sure if real gives you this option. It sounds like your graphics card is what is giving you problems, more that your network connection. When you double the play size you are doubling the load placed on the graphics card and it could account for the problem you are describing.

If 11 are using bandwidth at the same time, you get 1Mbps each. That's the major problem with wireless right now, especially for bandwidth intensive activities (such as video).
