One of the goals of WorldCALL 2003 (http://worldcall.org) is to
provide a number of scholarships for professional development,
offering those who have worked with CALL in developing countries the
opportunity to attend this conference and benefit from the exchange
of ideas and contact with leaders in the field.  Funding has already
been pledged to this end. A limited number of scholarships will be
available for qualified participants from areas of the world that are
underserved with regard to the use of new technologies and language
learning.

submitted in either English or French. Note that the deadline for
receipt of applications is September 15, 2002. Scholarship recipients
will be notified in December 2002.
