------------------
Dear Dr. Stewart,
At the language Resource Center at Harvard University, there is no
director who is a tenure-track or tenured professor.
The funding, which is provided by the Dean, comes mostly from
tuition and endowment payments.
We have a full-time computing specialist who has a part-time
assistant.
Our 17 -19 student workers are paid from the above funding.
Yes, we digitize materials with publishers' permissions and our
General Counsel's guidelines.
Hard copy materials are used in LRC only but some sets may be
purchased or borrowed from our Media Production Center.
Sincerely,
Connie Christo
