The "DigitalStream: Emerging Technologies in Language Learning and
Teaching"
Conference is an annual event that has been offered since 1999 by
California
State University Monterey Bay's Institute for World Languages and Cultures
and the Idea Lab. Each year, this conference attracts more than 250
attendees from across the state and beyond who are interested in the study
of foreign languages and the best use of technology in the language
classroom. This DigitalStream conference relies upon in-kind contributions,
and corporate donations to keep the registration fees low in order to
expand
access for all language teachers and educators.

The conference provides a unique forum of scheduled presentations and
printed proceedings where language teachers and administrators can share
useful and cutting edge information and learn from one another.
