A very big Mahalo! (Thank you) to all who responded to my posting on DVD
players.  That includes those of you that responded to me directly off
list.  The information was very useful and informative.  We have
decided to purchase the Daewoo DVD-5700 mentioned in the latest posting
from the World Gift Center.  Unfortunately, the free shipping advertised
does not apply to us in Hawaii.  This is something that we here have to
deal with all the time.  We are also purchasing an inexpensive region 1
DVD player, Toshiba SD 1700, from a local vendor.
