I would like to second Mike's appeal for IALLT volunteers who are =
interested in discussing issues related to the production and use of media =
materials for foreign language/ESL, and how we can work with the publishing=
companies to identify concerns of mutual interest--needs, priorities, =
cost structures, etc.

IALLT supports this initiative whole-heartedly--let's find solutions that =
work for everybody! Please contact Mike if you are interested in this =
important work.

IALLT President

Hi to all again. The discussion group between IALLT members
and publisher representatives is in full swing with very interesting
comments already. At the moment we actually have more
publisher representatives participating than IALLT members.
Thus, I am ready to accept up to two more IALLT members for
this discussion. Please send me an e-mail to Mike.Ledgerwood@
sunysb.edu to indicate your willingness to be an active participant
in discussing issues with publishers.

Thanks to all, Mike Ledgerwood
