Dear colleague,

We would like to announce the publication of our latest book, especially
because many members from the CALL-community have contributed by giving
their reactions and comments. If you feel this is appropriate, we would
appreciate your posting this message on the LLTI-list.

Dear colleagues,

Quite some time ago we invited members from the CALL-community to give
private comments on the topic of academic misconduct in CALL, in connection
with a book we were preparing on this difficult topic. We would like to
thank all those who shared experiences and discussed the matter with us.

The book itself was recently published by the MIT Press. The title is
"Crisis on Campus: Confronting Academic Misconduct." Though broader in scope
than originally foreseen and therefore not devoted to CALL as such, it uses
examples from our field and might interest members who are
not familiar with the topic or who have experienced controversial
situations. The aim of the book is to help raise ethical awareness and give
practical and constructive advice, as part of a worldwide movement to
strengthen academic standards.

The book is available through http://mitpress.mit.edu and
http://www.amazon.com (search author: Decoo).

The table of content and endorsements by specialists in the field can be
found at http://www.didascalia.be/cerberus.htm .
