If I understand you correctly, then this is OUTRAGEOUS!!!  Why should McGraw-Hill charge EXTRA for something you've already purchased and for which you're willing to do the work THEY should have done in the first place (i.e., you should be able to purchase the digital version).

Am I missing something here?

Ursula, you are correct about permissions to digitize Destinos. We have
a new Digital Media Services and an instructor had requested that the
series be digitized. (These requests normally go through me.) The staff
there considered the information printed on the back of the videojacket
as sufficient permission to digitize.

I contacted Joann Grason of McGraw-Hill (202) 879-9648 who stated that
we did not have permission to digitize and that if we wished to
digitize, there would be a $400 licensing fee for each part (the series
consists of two parts).

So, we will remove what has been digitized up to now. I just wanted
everyone to know the status of the question and provide contact
information for those interested in digitizing Destinos. Thanks!
