Dear Sandra,

From my experience as CALICO Software Review Editor, I can only confirm your
assessment that no translation program is going to automatically convert
English texts into Spanish to any satisfactory degree.  They can, however,
significantly assist someone with a good knowledge of the two languages
produce acceptable translations.  I would suggest having a look at a program
called the English Spanish Interpreter.  It was quite favorably reviewed in
the CALICO Review last year.  Here's the URL:
