Successful candidate should be broadly educated, participating in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary curriculum.  QUALIFICATIONS:  PhD in Spanish, ABD will be considered.  Area of specialization in Latin American literature and culture.  Prefer secondary specialization in Spanish applied linguistics or methodology.  Teaching assignment to include all levels of Spanish language and culture.  Candidates should be trained in task-based, proficiency-oriented teaching, and show a record of excellent teaching.  Experience in curriculum and materials development.  Ability to work well with diverse, multicultural populations.
