Lecturer in German
Renewable appointment beginning July 2002, approved.  Lecturer
responsibilities include language instruction at all levels, coordination
of multiple sections, curriculum development, placement testing, and
participation in extracurricular activities.  Minimum requirements: M.A.
or equivalent in German language/literature/culture, native or near-native
fluency in German and English, teaching experience at college level,
knowledge of current teaching methodologies including integration of
technology in the classroom.  Deadline for application, c.v., and letters
of reference is October 26, 2001; interviews will be held in Washington
D.C. at ACTFL Conference November 16-18.  Send application to: Dr. Richard
